Came up from Fort lauderdale to visit Mom and family and had lunch with Mom, Aunt and cousin...THE ABSOLUTE BEST food I've had in a long time. The Shrimp and Grits is incredible and I love the fried green tomatoes. The service and food is wonderful. An absolute must if you live in or are visiting Thomasville, Ga. Thank you Caleb for an awesome dining experience.

In town visiting for the first time. WOW what a great meal. I dine all over country and love to find local places that stand out in the crowd. I found your Grouper chowder and shrimp and grits to be one of the best meals I have had in years!!! Mark was a great server and the Christian Music made the experience memorable!

After mowing most of the lawn this morning Becks and I went up to Thomasville, Georgia for date day.  We headed downtown to grab some lunch and decided to try Jonah’s Fish & Grits.  It is in the building where Liam’s used to be before they moved next door.  Upon entering we were seated at a table by the window and took in our surroundings.  On the far wall hung various depictions of the biblical Jonah and overhead were some funky chandeliers.  The space was minimalistic with a cool vibe that I liked.

The waitstaff was very attentive and after bringing us our drinks we ordered.  Becks had a pan fried shrimp dish while I decided to try their shrimp and grits.  Shrimp and grits are my favorite Southern food to eat and I was looking forward to trying Jonah’s take on this classic.  When the bowl arrived I was anxious to give it a try and I was not disappointed.  The grits were very creamy and had white cheddar cheese mixed in with them.  The shrimp were perfectly cooked and the combination of the two was wonderful.  I told Becks that their shrimp and grits were some of the best I have ever had and were better than the bowl I had in Charleston at Poogan’s Porch.

Jonah's Fish & Grits is a new restaurant that just opened in the old Liam's location near the corner of Jackson and Broad St downtown. Try the shrimp and grits special - it's out of this world!

The food is delicious and fresh everytime you go and we have been at lunch and for the supper hour. We have ordered everything from the menu and dishes that were on special. The service is remarkable also. It is definately Thomasville's finest place to dine.

This is my kind of place! The knowledgeable server (Patrick) helped us make some great choices. The food was awesome and I loved the cafe style. I hope I make it back to Jonas on my next trip trough.

I was excited to hear they signature dish was the Shrimp and Grits because my family and I just came back from vacation in Charleston, SC and I missed the Shrimp and Grits there. Johan's does a good Shrimp and Grits version but not quite as good as Charleston's restaurants. Don't get me wrong, this is probably the best in the area. Overall, the restaurant is very friendly and has a good ambiance located in the nicer part of the town.

After our long search for that perfect dining experience, we have found the place in a quaint little town called Thomasville. Jonah's has a rather small dining room but a very nice atmosphere and great service. We all agreed that the food was delicious, but it was undoubtedly unanimous that my dish, the Fried Grouper Sandwich, was the favorite. Jonah's Fish and Grits in Thomasville, Georgia has made it into our list of destination points in the future.
