THE NAME…
Jonah and the whale—need I say more? The name Jonah no doubt triggers subtle thoughts of the ocean. However, at Jonah’s fish & grits the name goes a bit deeper. The name, Jonah, represents our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. When hearing the name Jonah, one often thinks of the story of forgiveness and compassion poured out to a repentant people of Nineveh, the result of the Lord’s disciple Jonah. Amongst great food and friendly service, our goal is to bring this message of hope to each person who walks in our doors.
THE FOOD…
The idea of fish and grits evolved from much time of study from the original fish and chips in England. Taking the idea of this concept and marrying it to our southern roots in Thomasville, Georgia and out produced the concept you know as Jonah’s fish & grits—a refined twist of the original fish and chips.
OUR MISSION…
Come in after a football game or before an evening performance—young and old, casual or dressy, all are welcome to experience Jonah’s fish & grits. Our mission is to bring you irresistibly good food made fresh daily at a great value in an alcohol-free, family friendly atmosphere.
